How do I create teams?

In order to get a better view on the absences within different teams in your company, you can set up teams on My Liantis. Forming teams is optional when using the Lia app.

Composing teams

On My Liantis, select the "Medewerkers" theme. Go to the "Teams" tile and click the "Team toevoegen" button to create a new team.

Choose a name for the team and drag the name of the supervisor, from the list of employees, to the field "Voeg leidinggevende toe". In the same way you can select and add team members. When the team is complete, press "Opslaan".

An employee can belong to only one team (as an employee). On the contrary, a supervisor is able to direct multiple teams.

Via the magnifying glass you can search employees.

By forming teams, the requests from the team members will arrive at their supervisor. In case there are no teams, all absence requests will end up with the administrator.

If you want to appoint a supervisor who does not have an employment contract, in other words an external employee, use How can I add an external employee to my company's calendar? to set this up.

Team Leads

Each team has one primary manager. This person is visible to the team members everywhere as a manager.

The administrator can also choose to add a supporting manager. We provide this functionality so that they can act as a backup in the event of the primary manager's illness or leave. The backups have exactly the same rights as the regular managers, but are not visible to team members as their managers.

Administrators can choose whether to assign supporting managers by default or only to do so when the primary manager is absent. It is important to know: as a supporting manager, you are no longer visible in the team's calendar.

Team calender

Don't have any teams within your organisation? There is a team calender with all employees, for both administrators as for employees.
